This is a long, but very insightful, funny interview with Louis C.K. This is the most in depth interview about his life I have seen, as he discusses staying true to your art & family, no matter what happens to you in this life.

Louis goes into how failure, taught him that he could handle it, and by embracing it, and learning from it, he eventually ended up where he always wanted to be. He talks about his fatherhood being very important to him, although his father was not present, being awful in school, with two parents from Harvard, the new HBO Special OMG, and why he is taking a risk, by planing to leave his hit show on FX for 1 year.

[Art] MoMa's Rain Room Installation: 5/12/13 – 7/28/13

Have you ever wanted to “walk between raindrops?” Random International’s new interactive environment entitled, Rain Room, might just be that for you, and then some.  It was already a huge success in 2012, when it made its debut, at The Barbican Centre in London.  And now it will make its appearance at The MoMA PS1 exhibition EXPO 1: New York, presented in the lot directly adjacent to The Museum of Modern Art. “The installation recognizes the presence of the viewer,” explains Random International’s Hannes Koch.

A field of falling water pauses wherever a human body is detected, Rain Room offers visitors the experience of controlling the rain. Koch won’t tell you how it works. “We’re being deliberately obscure about the details,” he says, citing a wish to preserve a sense of mystery. But he will say that the installation is full of 3-D cameras, feeding information to the controls in real time.  May 12.  Be there to experience it for yourself.
