[Sports] The NBA Bans Clippers Owner For Life & The World Responds
After a full investigation, the NBA has ruled that the alleged recording of LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling is infact real! Now the NBA’s Commissioner Adam Silver, has banned him for life from the NBA, all games, and fined him $2.5 million. He also stated that the owners on the NBA’s committee are now in talks to force Sterling to sell his team! Who saw that coming? Shortly after Silver held his press conference to make the announcement, Magic Johnson took to Twitter to tweet his approval of the commissioner’s decision.
The LA Clippers come out with warmups, threw logo shirts down at midcourt & wore warm ups inside out with black bands on their left wrist and black socks. “Wasn’t thrilled about it but if that’s what they want to do, that’s what they want to do.” - Coach Doc Rivers
Miami Heat came out wearing warm ups inside out, with black socks to support the LA Clippers protest before Game 4 vs Bobcats.
Shelly Sterling, Donald’s wife, sat courtside at Game 4 between the Clippers and Golden State Warriors wearing all black and gave a statement. Protesting…maybe so!
