[Film] A Deeper Look at Andre 3000's Role as Jimi Hendrix

The long-awaited Jimi Hendrix biopic ‘All Is By My Side’ starring Andre Benjamin [Andre 3000]
will make its U.S. premiere next week at South by Southwest 2014.

The movie screens on Wednesday, March 12th at Austin’s Paramount Theatre, written
and directed by the recent Oscar-winning screenwriter behind 12 Years a Slave, John Ridley.
Accordingly to Ridley, this project began some seven years ago and due to the reluctance of the Hendrix’s estate, this film won’t feature any of the Jimmies compositions, but it will feature songs
written by Muddy Waters, the Beatles, the Troggs, and some other artists.
