On Sunday, March 23rd, MaDukes and The J. Dilla Foundation hosted its first annual tribute concert for the late J. Dilla at Webster Hall. Featuring some of Hip-Hop’s best and most respected pioneers like Jarobi from A Tribe Called Quest, Black Star’s Talib Kweli, Pharaoh Monch, 88 Keys to newcomers, YC the Cynic and the eclectic soul-hop band, Phone Ppl.
