[Interview] The Combat Jack Show: The 'Jessica Rosenblum' Episode

Jessica Rosenblum has done alot for Hip-Hop in NYC. Making her mark as a prominent events planner, manager, later evolving into the branding pioneer she is known as today. This blonde bombshell managed and threw some of the biggest, most popular parties in NYC from the mid-90′s. Collaborating with Russell Simmons and Lyor Cohen, guiding the careers of Funk Master Flex and Sean “Puffy” Combs, she became a force to be reconed with. Jessica also spent some time, opening up about her friendship with Violator Records co-founder, the late Chris Lighty.

This is one of Combat Jacks’ best, and most informative interviews, showcasing the birth of Hip-Hop in the clubs scene, and how one woman helped branch 3 subcultures, in an industry purely dominated by men.
