Government You Won't Get Confused By

The Storhagen Atrium in Norway needed a way to help
visitors find their way around the complex with no problem
whatsoever. With that in mind, the government tapped the
design team of Ralston and Bau, who have come up with a
stylistic and colorful scheme similar to the Tokyo subway map.

LG L-03 Camera

Given the wave of smartphones out there that have blurred
the lines between phone and camera, LG's next move should
have been easy to predict...should have been. But the new
L-03 camera is a step above the norm. 3x optical zoom, a
12 megapixel CCD sensor and a Xenon flash. While it looks
like one of the many pro-sumer digital cameras out there,
you will be able to make phone calls in addition to other
features of that nature. No word yet on a release date...

The North Face Camouflage Scoop Jacket

The traditional outerwear staple of The North Face gets a twist
in the form of camouflage design. This looks like the jacket to
have for this season...wonder if they could get into the military
block print like they had on GIJoes in the late '80's?

DJ's will mourn over this news.

In another sign that the digital age eradicates things we've held
dear when it comes to music, Panasonic has announced that they
will no longer be making Technics analog turntables. The reason
being, '"a decline in demand for these analog products and also the
growing difficulty of procuring key analog components necessary to
sustain production." Bottom line? No heavy flow of purchases leading
to it's demise. Everyone DJ's with Macbooks and iPods these days,
which makes you more wistful whenever you see DJ's with turntable
skills wreck shop on vinyl. We're going to go cry in our Guinness now.
