Johnny Cash Postage Stamp


The United States Postal Service, as part of their ‘Music Icons’ series, will be issuing a 
stamp dedicated to the ‘Man In Black’, Johnny Cash. The image is created from a
photograph taken for the 1963 album Ring Of Fire by Frank Bez, and is intended to
resemble the sleeve art for a 45.

Rolling Stones Whiskey Bottles



Don’t know how we missed this, but the well-regarded Japanese whiskey company Suntory,
in honor of The Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary, produced this limited edition bottle last
November. Featuring a modified design based on the classic John Pasche artwork, the 
company only made 150 of these.

Snoop Lion on Bunny Wailer

Snoop Lion ‘converting’ to Rastafarianism has had its detractors, but recently none
bigger than Bunny Wailer himself. The former bandmate of Bob Marley recently told
TMZ that  ‘Fire will bun fi him’ if Snoop doesn’t make things right with him and the 
Rastafari Millenium Council. The Council has taken offense to Reincarnated, a new
documentary produced by VICE about Snoop’s embrace of Rastafari. The clip is from
the doc…wonder how this is going to get settled?

The Indio, California music festival just released their lineup and as usual, it’s 
jam packed with artists from all genres. Notbale acts include the Wu-Tang Clan,
Action Bronson, Jurassic 5, Danny Brown, Jurassic 5, Red Hot Chili Peppers and
more. Might need to be a collection taken up to get there…..

Trailer: The Clemente Effect


ESPN is set to debut this new documentary about the life of the late Roberto 
Clemente, baseball hall-of-famer and human rights activist. Clemente, while
with the Pittsburgh Pirates, became the first Hispanic player to win a World Series
as a starter in 1960. He also received the MVP award in 1966, along with the
World Series MVP Award in 1971. The documentary is directed by Mario Diaz.

Trailer for Lifetime's 'Betty and Coretta'



Lifetime is introducing this new film as part of a trio for Black History Month. It
will be a look into the relationship betweeen Coretta Scott King and Betty Shabazz,
the widows of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. Coretta will be played by Angela
Bassett, and Betty will be played by Mary J.Blige. The movie premieres on February
2nd.
