their craft, and while many of us want

The Godfather of Soul, James Brown will get
his own dedicated film coming to theaters
this summer. Get On Up will depict Brown’s
life coming up from tough times in his native
Georgia all the way through his rise to stardom.
Chandler Bosewick (“42”) will play the soul
man, with Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis, Jill
Scott and many more filling out the roster.
The film hits theaters August 1st.

greats in Bobby Womack. His influence spans
throughout all musical genres, from The Rolling
Stones to hip-hop. And the great 9th Wonder took
