It’s no secret that biking in the city has been on the rise in
the last decade. Be it for easier transportation, a mindful
practice for the preservation of the environment or just
a fun way to keep fit, urban cycling is popular. Many have
taken advantage of popular bike-share programs in New
York City and Washington D.C. already. But for those who
don’t want to pay fees to rent a bike and also don’t have
ample storage space for regular trail bikes, there is now a
solution to both problems courtesy of Brooklyness.  The
company has created the Broadway Folding Bike, a bike
that you can take with you wherever you go with no
hassle whatsoever. They’ve even created a video to show
just how easy it is.

At first glance, the Broadway Folding Bike doesn’t look
to be able to handle the rigors of riding through the city.
But the company has designed and produced these bikes
in their facility in Brooklyn, New York with all of that
taken into account. The bike is made from lightweight
but sturdy aluminum that bears up well. The intricate
but simple folding system extends to not only the seat,
but the pedals and handlebars as well. For those who
want to roll it onto the platform as they take the train
instead of carrying it, there are two small wheels set
in place for that purpose. And as far as weight, the
Broadway Folding Bike comes in under thirty pounds.
Definitely less cumbersome than some pieces of
traveling luggage others may carry around daily. And
it’s also great for those with limited space in their
apartments. The Broadway Folding Bike is available
now from Brooklyness. Check them out on Amazon
and at their Facebook page.
