Today was the day James ‘J Dilla’ Yancey made his transition seven years
ago. The music world has felt less potent since then. Here at Manifesto,
like many others, we value his contributions to music and his impact on
the culture of hip-hop. So today, we are dedicating the bulk of our news
and other content to Dilla. May he rest in power.
