So, Maureen Yancey, better known to the world
as Ma Dukes and the mother of J Dilla, is overseeing
the release of a new collection of his music. The King of Beats
(Ma Dukes Yancey Collector’s Edition Box Set) will contain
40 unreleased songs, a commemorative booklet with
interviews, one floppy disk, four 10” vinyl records from
Dilla’s collection and a cassette tape. For now though,
