The hip hop world lost an iconic figure just before Labor Day. Chris Lighty,
known as ‘Baby Chris’ to many in the industry died on August 30th due
to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters,
as well as a career of executive excellence, managing artists such as Mariah
Carey, Busta Rhymes and forming his own company, Violator Entertainment.
