Word has it that negotiations are rather tense between AMC and the
show's creators and the main sticking point is season length. AMC
wants only five or six episodes, and the creators want it to remain
at 13. Given that AMC is putting their all behind Mad Men and The
Walking Dead, we see why they're trying to put the squeeze on. But
the creators are now talking with other networks. Stay tuned.
